The principal purpose of the role will be to:
Provide high level scientific, strategic and marketing insight combined with editorial leadership of account teams to ensure excellence in project delivery across the communication mix

Main responsibilities:
• Combine in-depth scientific understanding of the product / therapy area with commercial / market awareness to provide high level strategic and tactical communication planning within the company and for clients
• Drive organic growth by establishing positive long-term relationships with a wide range of brand team members in client organizations
• Contribute to business development activities by providing high level input to proposals and pitches

Preferred skills and experience
• Advanced degree in life sciences, PhD, PharmD, or MD (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years medical communications experience
• Extensive writing and content development experience
• Significant experience with medical affairs operations
• Evidence of developing and delivering long-term strategic publication plans and medical to medical communications
• Excellent skills in the development of high level scientific/medical content and ensuring the quality of projects commissioned

INTERNATIONAL/GLOBAL experience a plus
